The meeting will be held for all interested parties to hear and present evidence relative to the following agenda items:
1) Application 17-010 for consideration of a Zone Map Amendment for 239 Grandview Avenue (aka Kent Building) to change the zoning map from T5 Zone to a T5.5 Zone.
A T5 Zone allows for up to 24 dwelling units per acre at this location. The proposed T5.5 Zone allows for an unlimited number of dwelling units per acre at this location. The applicant is working with a developer who seeks to develop approximately 66 dwelling units on a 0.9070 acre site that is currently limited to 22 dwelling units.
Request: “I am seeking a zoning map amendment from T5 zone to T5.5 zone for the property/parcel located at 239 Grandview Avenue in Bellevue. This change in the zoning map will all for the building to be converted into a higher and better use by allowing greater density. This makes it conducive for selling to a developer who is willing to convert my building into market rate housing. The sale and subsequent conversion will be a win for both me and the citizens of Bellevue”.
