This is a follow-up meeting to the September 25 public hearing. Because the public hearing process closed at the conclusion of the September 25 meeting, no public comment or additional evidence will be received from the public. The commission will review and discuss all evidence relative to the following agenda items:
1) Application 17-010 for consideration of a Zone Map Amendment for 239 Grandview Avenue (aka Kent Building) to change the zoning map from T5 Zone to a T5.5 Zone.
A T5 Zone allows for up to 24 dwelling units per acre at this location. The proposed T5.5 Zone allows for an unlimited number of dwelling units per acre at this location. The applicant is seeking to develop approximately 66 dwelling units on a 0.9070 acre site that is currently limited to 22 dwelling units.
Request: “I am seeking a zoning map amendment from T5 zone to T5.5 zone for the property/parcel located at 239 Grandview Avenue in Bellevue. This change in the zoning map will all for the building to be converted into a higher and better use by allowing greater density. This makes it conducive for selling to a developer who is willing to convert my building into market rate housing. The sale and subsequent conversion will be a win for both me and the citizens of Bellevue”.
Owner/Applicant: David S. Hosea, Ft. Thomas, KY.
Developer: Orleans Development, LLC, Covington, KY.
Please note that the public hearing portion of this hearing was closed at the conclusion of the September 25 public hearing. The purpose of this meeting is for the commission to review and discuss all evidence previously presented and to come to a disposition on the matter.
