As a part of the City’s project to repair and renovate Lincoln Road, the Northern Kentucky Water District is preparing to replace the water main that serves the area. Construction will start mid-February and will last until approximately late August. This is a weather dependent project so the start and end dates may be affected by weather. Details include:
– Construction will begin mid-February. As with any construction project, dusty road conditions, steel plates, and interruption of water service to Lincoln Road residents will be inevitable. Extra effort is being made to minimize any inconvenience.
– Work will be performed generally between the hours of 7:30 am to 5pm Monday through Friday. During working hours, the road will be closed to through traffic. Access for local traffic will be maintained.
– Details of this phase of construction are being mailed to residents in the affected area by the Northern Kentucky Water District
– Garbage collection will still be on Thursdays for the Lincoln Road residents, although residents will notice that the CSI/Republic collection will be earlier in the morning.
If you have any questions regarding this phase of the project, please leave a comment below. The City will work in conjunction with the Northern Kentucky Water District to answer your questions or address your concerns.
