The Mayesfest Bluegrass Music Festival will be held this Saturday, May 20th at the Thomas Weithorn Memorial Beach Park from 12 to 11pm. More information about the event can be found HERE. The festival will require the following streets will be closed:
Friday beginning at 2pm: Frank Benke Way from Foote to Van Voast. Road will remain closed until conclusion/clean-up of concert event on Saturday evening (approximately midnight).
Saturday beginning at 8am: Frank Benke Way remains closed until concert end. The northernmost sections of Foote, Ward, Van Voast will be closed from the cross alleys north to Frank Benke way until concert end / cleanup (approximately midnight on Saturday). (See map below for affected residences). The north/south alleys will be closed at Frank Benke Way.
All streets will be open upon conclusion and clean-up of the area. Our best estimate is all streets will be open by midnight or very early Sunday morning. The City apologizes in advance of any inconvenience this may cause but encourages you to enjoy the Bluegrass music in the park on Saturday.
