The Sanitation District #1 sewer separation work continues to progress up Taylor Avenue. Tomorrow, October 10th, the crews will need to close the intersection of Poplar and Taylor to connect the new catch basins to the new sewer line. Per SD1:
Tomorrow around 9 AM our contractor will need to close the intersection at the 200 Block of Prospect and Taylor in order to tie the catch basin into the new sewer. Traffic will not be able to turn onto Taylor so they will have to go the opposite way of the one way if they are leaving and go out Lafayette. They will plate it once work is over that day so the intersection will be opened back up in the evening.
Tuesday is the normal trash collection day for residents on the 200 Block of Prospect. Please put your trash out for collection as usual. Republic will pick up before 8:30 am tomorrow.
If you have any questions, please contact Daniel Doss at SD1 at 578-6775 or Keith Spoelker 292-4222 and we’ll work to address any concerns.
