With extremely high temperatures and heat index values forecast for our area this week, Campbell County is opening Cooling Centers to provide residents with a safe, air-conditioned place to escape the heat.

Library Hours:

Monday-Thursday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Friday: 9 a.m.-7 p.m.

Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sunday: 1-5 p.m.

Campbell County Senior Center

Monday-Friday: 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

Stay hydrated, limit strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day, and check on older adults, neighbors, family members, and others who may be especially vulnerable to extreme heat.

If you do not have access to air conditioning or need a place to cool down, please take advantage of one of these locations during their normal operating hours.
