The City of Bellevue is proud to have and maintain several municipal parks, including a few pocket parks, for use by residents and visitors. Additionally, our parks are the site of community gatherings, festivals, concerts, and other special events.
Bellevue Beach Park, nestled along the picturesque Ohio River in Bellevue, Kentucky, offers a serene escape from the bustle of everyday life. With its lush greenery, panoramic river views, and a variety of recreational amenities, this park is a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike.
Located at 100 Ward Avenue and open 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset, the Bellevue Beach Park is a historical attraction that brought thousands to early Bellevue. This landmark was once at the heart of economic development for the City!
Brun Park is a small pocket park located off of Washington Avenue. This quaint park hosts a playground and swing set and is perfect for the 2-5 year old age group.
O’Fallon Park is located off of O’Fallon Street on the East side of Bellevue. The park contains a half-basketball court, a playground, and a swing set. In 2022, the City applied and was awarded a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant to replace the existing playground equipment and expand the park into the adjacent lot. The City has been waiting for the “go ahead” from the State of Kentucky since the approval.
Dedicated to the memory of Stan and Ethel Swope, who were committed to our community’s youth, this park was named in their honor in 1995. You can find several amenities at Swope Park, located at the corner of Taylor Avenue and Covert Run Pike. The park’s playground includes swings, slides, and basketball courts.
