Bluegrass for Good is a day celebrating bluegrass music and bringing together the community while also bringing awareness to and raising money for an important cause. Proceeds from the sale of many items around the festival and a portion of donations from sponsors will be going to Chicks & Chucks, a local breast cancer charity that provides material and financial assistance to families dealing with excessive medical bills related to breast cancer. This organization directly helps people in their moments of greatest need, and we hope you’ll consider showing them additional support by donating directly to them.
There will be four phenomenal bluegrass bands throughout the day: Zeotrope, The Hicks Brothers, Slippery Creek, and the Comet Bluegrass All Stars. Along with the music, we will have a beer vendor, specialty cocktails, food from many Bellevue restaurants, a few local vendors, a kid’s area, and all sorts of other fun!
We can’t wait to have a good time partying on Foote Ave (beside Schneider’s Sweet Shop) for a good cause!
