Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event | 7am

Residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties are invited to participate in the Northern Kentucky Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free collection event will be held at Thomas More Stadium, home of the Florence Y’alls, located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky. The event is open to residents of Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties.

Residents can safely dispose of a variety of household hazardous materials, including electronics, televisions (limit of two), aerosol cans, household cleaners, oil-based paint (limit of 10 cans), pesticides and poisons, batteries, light bulbs, smoke detectors, car fluids, fire extinguishers, corrosives, flammables and fuels, adhesives, oxidizers, and cylinders and tanks. Electronics include items that take a battery or have a cord.

Residents must print and complete a registration form in advance and bring the completed form to the collection event. Registration forms and additional information are available at www.NKYHHW.org.

Please note that ammunition, fireworks, explosives, radioactive materials, tires and commercial-grade gases are not accepted.

The event is provided by the Northern Kentucky Solid Waste Management Area and sponsored by the Kentucky Division of Waste Management and the Fiscal Courts of Boone, Campbell and Kenton Counties.
