Come join us for the unveiling of our new hybrid seminar:
“An Early Look at Bellevue History to Help with Researching Your House.”
The new seminar will show how Bellevue came about, the movers and shakers that helped make it happen, and will, hopefully, dispel a good many myths about our founding. Learn how a lot of our streets got their names, and who actually named them! Find out why some of us have alleys in our additions and why some of us don’t.
Researching your house and the people that lived in it will show you its connection and role in our history. We will show you how to research your house and how to overcome obstacles you may come across. You’ll also learn about the importance of preservation and the federal rebates for approved work to your historic home.
City Historians Bev and Jim McPhail are hosting so come out for a great time!
