Public Notice: Bellevue-Dayton Fire Department Temporary Suspension of Dumpster Permits
Due to recent snowfall and ongoing winter conditions, the City will temporarily suspend approval of dumpster permits until streets are sufficiently cleared.
This decision is necessary to ensure public safety. The presence of dumpsters on narrow streets, combined with snow accumulation, may impede the ability of fire, police, and ambulance services to safely and quickly navigate roadways during emergencies.
Dumpster permit approvals will resume once snow has been removed and normal roadway access is restored.
