TMS Construction is currently installing new ADA-compliant curb ramps along Grandview, Foote, and Washington avenues as part of the City’s ongoing infrastructure improvement efforts. These upgrades will improve accessibility for pedestrians of all ages and abilities while bringing intersections into compliance with current accessibility standards.
We recognize that residents in this neighborhood have experienced an extended period of construction activity. Over the past several months, the area has seen work associated with the new Grandview Elementary School gymnasium, waterline improvements by the Northern Kentucky Water District, and now the installation of ADA ramps. We appreciate the patience and understanding of residents as these important projects have progressed.
The good news is that these improvements are paving the way for the next major step in the project. Once the ADA ramp installations are complete, the affected streets are scheduled to be resurfaced, providing a smoother, safer driving surface and completing this series of infrastructure investments.
While construction can be inconvenient in the short term, these projects represent a significant investment in Bellevue’s neighborhoods, improving accessibility, modernizing utilities, and enhancing the overall condition of our streets for years to come. The City thanks residents for their continued cooperation and patience as this work moves toward completion.
